Jonathan Fahey joins the Vogel Group’s D.C. office 

WASHINGTON, D.C. – Top bipartisan government relations firm, Vogel Group, announced today that former Trump DHS Deputy Assistant Secretary/Acting ICE director Jonathan Fahey has joined the firm as a Principal in its Washington, D.C. office.

Fahey served in a variety of roles during President Trump’s first administration, including the Acting Director and Acting Principal Legal Advisor at Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE). He also served as the Deputy Assistant Secretary at the Department of Homeland Security. Prior to those roles, he served as General Counsel to the White House Office of National Drug Control Policy.

Fahey’s spent most of his legal career as an Assistant US Attorney and Special Assistant US Attorney in the Eastern District of Virginia. While serving in these roles, Fahey held several leadership positions, led grand jury investigations in cases involving drug trafficking, human trafficking and white-collar offenses. Fahey handled several cases of national significance and received the John Marshall Award, the Department of Justice’s most prestigious award.
