Deanna Archuleta will join Vogel Group’s D.C. office as Principal as the firm continues to grow its bipartisan practice.

Washington, D.C. – Top bipartisan government relations firm, Vogel Group, announced today that Deanna Archuleta will join the firm as a Principal in its Government Affairs practice. Archuleta joins the firm from ExxonMobil, where she was a Director of Federal Relations.

Archuleta led numerous Carbon Capture projects at ExxonMobil and worked closely with officials at the Department of Energy and Department of the Interior. Additionally, she managed congressional advocacy efforts for the company on the 45Q tax credit, carbon capture, GILTI, carbon price and the methane fee.

Prior to her time at ExxonMobil, Archuleta also led state government relations efforts at XTO Energy in Santa Fe, New Mexico. In her role, she worked to grow a network of collaboration between the company and the New Mexico state government. Archuleta also served as Deputy Assistant Secretary for Water and Science during the Obama Administration, where she led a variety of federal policy and projects. In her role, she oversaw both the Defense Production Act Federal Agency Committee and the DHS Science and Technology Taskforce. Prior to her service with the Department of the Interior, Archuleta served in New Mexico as a Chair to both the Albuquerque Bernalillo County Water Utility and Bernalillo County Commission.
