Julian Yowell is an Associate at the Vogel Group.

Julian Yowell represents Vogel Group clients on Capitol Hill and within the Administration. Julian’s experience at the nexus of law and business allows him to thoughtfully solve complex issues pertaining to regulatory and legislative policy through a legal lens. Prior to joining Vogel Group, Julian completed his J.D. at George Washington University Law School.

While at GW Law, Julian focused his studies and independent research on an array of legal areas, including Conflict of Laws, Banking and Finance Law, International Law, as well as a concentration in Cannabis Law and Policy. In addition to his academic pursuits, Julian spent time working with the general counsel of a N.Y. private equity firm which specialized in complex hotel purchase and sale transactions. Prior to that, he worked with VH Strategies as a Summer Associate, working on behalf of both healthcare and renewable energy clients on the policy front. Julian also has an extensive background in corporate restructuring and M&A which he gained during his time while working for Weil, Gotshall, & Manges, LLP.

Julian earned his undergraduate degree from Southern Methodist University with degrees in Political Science, Film, and Sports Management. While at SMU, Julian held roles as a Student Senator, President of the University Residential Commons, as well as multiple leadership roles within the Phi Delta Theta Organization.
