For nearly a decade, Andrew Nehring has represented small businesses, Fortune 500 companies, major trade associations, and governments around the world.He has led clients through complex government relations strategies at both the federal and state level, orchestrated multi-million-dollar public affairs campaigns for some of the world’s leading companies and brands, and provided high-level strategic counsel spanning grassroots mobilization, coalition building, and integrated earned and paid media efforts.Prior to joining Vogel Group, he was the Founder and Principal of Fourth Street Advocacy and before that he was Vice President of Client Relations at DDC Public Affairs.
At the Vogel Group, Andrew advises clients on issues spanning AI, appropriations, cybersecurity, energy, financial services, manufacturing, tax policy, labor, hazardous materials, and complex transportation disputes. He has delivered major legislative and regulatory wins for his clients including defeating the proposed Texas high-speed rail line between Dallas and Houston, protecting the Special Retirement Supplement in the landmark “One Big Beautiful Bill,” securing non-regulated relief from PHMSA, and helping establish a federal tax deduction for refinancing auto loans.
Andrew’s international work includes advising sovereign governments such as the Republic of Iceland, the Kingdom of Bahrain, the Government of New Zealand, and the Republic of Kenya. In Washington, he has guided these nations through critical issues from trade and sanctions to infrastructure development and strategic minerals.

Born and raised in Maryland, Andrew attended the University of Maryland–Baltimore County and resides in Northwest Washington, D.C.
