The climate crisis is the defining global challenge of our time. The Vogel Group maintains a strong and growing practice in the clean tech and climate solutions space. We provide advisory and policy advocacy services to innovators on the front lines of the race to solve the climate crisis. Our experts take pride in their work on industrial decarbonization policy, including carbon capture, utilization and storage, as well as transportation electrification, clean and renewable fuels, and sustainable agriculture. We are positioned at the intersection of business and government to help speed the deployment of critical climate solutions.
From public and tribal lands to national forests and mineral rights issues, the Vogel Group has had a hand in developing and influencing policy for decades. We understand the intricacies and sensitivities associated with jurisdictional issues, both with respect to the leasing and ownership rights of the involved parties as well as the interagency processes at play. Our multidisciplinary approach takes into account a deep understanding of the policies and players in the states where we represent clients, and the breadth of our issues covered ranges from project developers to historically or environmentally concerned citizens groups, and from government stakeholders and zoning decision makers to financial owners.
On behalf of a leading domestic energy producer and landowner, the Vogel Group worked to secure a historic public lands package that included a settlement resolving a 40-year-old dispute in a way that allowed a federal agency and a Native American tribe to obtain new lands, while providing the client with the promise of future leases. In total, the new land designations neared 10,000 acres.
