Ali Khimji is a Principal at the Vogel Group.

Through his rigorous due diligence and policy research experience, Ali Khimji advises a broad portfolio of clients in anticipating, understanding, and responding to federal legislative and regulatory developments.

Ali leads a team that utilizes a hands-on, detail-oriented, and measured approach to help small, medium, and Fortune 500 companies and trade associations achieve their legislative and regulatory objectives. On behalf of many clients across sectors, Ali formulates policy priorities, crafts advocacy strategies, tracks multiple complex policy issues, and proactively communicates with Congressional offices and government stakeholders to drive policy initiatives forward.

In addition to supporting government affairs efforts, Ali is the head of the firm’s research work, serving clients in the private equity, hedge fund, and corporate development space. In this capacity, he has provided strategic guidance to large investment funds, both global and domestic, related to public policy considerations across investment decisions. He routinely advises funds on idiosyncratic risk within companies and sectors, as well as special situations requiring the Federal Trade Commission (FTC) and the Department of Justice (DOJ) review on mergers and acquisitions.

Ali received his Bachelor of Science from Penn State University, where he majored in Business Management and Finance.
