Miles Scherer is an Associate at the Vogel Group.

Miles supports the firm’s principal clients by tracking legislative and regulatory developments, preparing briefing materials, drafting memos, and monitoring trade policy developments relevant to client interests. He assists in preparing and producing materials that support client advocacy and engagement with policymakers.

Miles previously interned with the Vogel Group during the summer of 2025, where he gained exposure to the firm’s client work and government affairs practice. During his senior year of college, he interned with NOAA Fisheries and completed a capstone project focusing on the state of public trust in U.S. federal institutions. Before that, he interned with the African Chamber of Commerce of the Pacific Northwest and with The Energy Authority as a Portfolio Analyst Intern, which exposed him to energy markets and policy.

A native of the San Francisco Bay Area, California, Miles earned his B.A. in Economics and Environmental Studies from the University of Washington Seattle.
