Linley Wilson is a Principal at the Vogel Group.

Linley is an attorney and government affairs expert in Arizona. Linley joined the firm after serving as Deputy Chief of Staff and General Counsel for the Arizona House of Representatives, where she provided strategic legal counsel on complex legislative matters and managed legal operations for the legislative body. In this role, she advised the Speaker of the House on litigation matters, provided legal advice and guidance to the Republican Caucus on issues of statewide concern, evaluated the constitutionality of proposed legislation, and directed legislative investigations.

Prior to her time with the House, Linley spent more than a decade at the Arizona Attorney General’s Office, where she ultimately served as Criminal Appeals Chief Counsel and Deputy Solicitor General. In this role, she led the Criminal Appeals Section across offices in Phoenix and Tucson and authored amicus briefs on behalf of Arizona and the Arizona Attorney General in state and federal courts on issues of statewide importance. As Deputy Solicitor General in the Appeals and Constitutional Litigation Division, she conducted public monies investigations, litigated allegations of state law violations by cities and towns, and assisted the Election Integrity Unit in defending and enforcing state election laws. She also drafted and edited Arizona Attorney General opinions and represented Arizona in high-profile appeals involving constitutional claims.

Earlier in her tenure at the Attorney General’s Office, Linley served as Unit Chief Counsel for Criminal Appeals, supervising a team of Assistant Attorneys General, and as an Assistant Attorney General defending felony convictions in state appellate courts and representing the Arizona Department of Corrections in federal habeas corpus proceedings.

Linley received her B.A. in Political Science and Italian from Arizona State University. She received her J.D. from Sandra Day O’Connor College of Law at Arizona State University.
