VOGEL GROUP ADDS SENIOR SENATE AGRICULTURE COMMITTEE STAFFER, CALLIE EIDEBERG, AS PRINCIPAL; TOP LOBBYIST & RECRUITMENT EXPERT, JOHN HESSE, AS PRINCIPAL; AND EMMA JENSEN AS ASSOCIATE
WASHINGTON, D.C. – Top bipartisan government relations firm, Vogel Group, announced three new additions to the firm’s growing team in its Washington, D.C. office today. Callie Eideberg and John Hesse joined the firm as Principals and Emma Jensen joined as an Associate.
Prior to joining Vogel Group, Callie Eideberg served as a Senior Professional Staff Member to the Senate Agriculture Committee led by Senator Stabenow. She led the environmental, conservation and climate portfolios for the committee and directed a team through challenging political dynamics.
During the Obama Administration, Callie served at USDA as a Senior Advisor to the Chief of the Natural Resources Conservation Services and as Senior Analyst in the Office of Congressional Relations. In this role, she successfully prepared candidates for Senate nominations and congressional hearings. She also oversaw the development of programs such as the 2014 Farm Bill conservation title and management for key stakeholders.
She also previously led agriculture policy and political outreach at the Environmental Defense Fund (EDF), where she founded the Food and Agriculture Climate Alliance. The alliance served as a bipartisan coalition of commodity and environmental stakeholders focused on achievable climate policy. Eideberg previously worked in the House of Representatives for Reps. Cardoza (D-CA) and Mahoney (D-FL). Callie received her JD from Tulane and a BA from Western Kentucky University.

Prior to joining the Vogel Group, John Hesse represented numerous clients and helped them navigate a variety of public affairs and government relations challenges. He has represented clients before Congress, 37 state legislatures, the White House, federal agencies, foreign governments, and the European Parliament and Commission.
John also has extensive experience in human capital and executive recruitment having previously served as a Partner at Ivan Adler & Associates. In this role, he identified skilled corporate affairs professionals to advance client advocacy goals with external audiences. He also represented many high-profile D.C. professionals through a change or transition to the private sector. John is a member of the Oxford University Global Corporate Affairs Advisory Council and a licensed attorney.

Emma Jensen, former Legislative Correspondent and Staff Assistant to Rep. Mike Garcia (R-CA), has also joined the firm as an Associate. A native Texan, Emma received a Master’s in Conflict Management and Resolution from the University of San Diego, where she researched the intersection of negotiation and foreign policy strategy. She also received a BA in Politics from The Catholic University of America with an emphasis on global conflicts and International Law. She previously interned for Reps. Granger (R-TX), Letlow (R-LA) and Norman (R-SC).
