Gabbi Salmon is a Senior Associate at the Vogel Group, providing support to clients through comprehensive legislative analysis, policy research, and the development of effective engagement strategies. With a broad focus on domestic policy, Gabbi brings a wealth of experience and expertise to address a wide range of client priorities. Prior to joining Vogel Group, Gabbi held operational and research positions, utilizing her skills to deliver exceptional support to the firm and its clients. She previously served as the Executive Assistant to the Chief Operating Officer at the Republican National Committee, where she skillfully managed daily internal operations for the Chairman’s office and oversaw broader Committee functions.
Gabbi’s policy research background spans across various positions, including her work in the United States Senate for former Republican Tennessee Senator Lamar Alexander and in the Senate Committee on Health, Education, Labor, and Pensions (HELP). This diverse experience has equipped her with a comprehensive understanding of policy development and implementation.
While Gabbi’s earlier internship at the Cato Institute allowed her to focus on K-12 and Higher Education policy, she has expanded her expertise to encompass a broader range of policy areas. Her dedication to advocating for educational freedom and policy solutions has earned her recognition and the opportunity to engage with policymakers on Capitol Hill.
Gabbi remains committed to applying her skills and knowledge to contribute to impactful policy outcomes and serve the needs of Vogel Group’s clients in the ever-evolving domestic policy landscape. She holds a B.A. in Political Science and Policy from American University in Washington, D.C., and currently resides in Arlington, VA.
